The 79th Annual United Nations General Assembly will once again be convening in New York City. Comprised of 193 member states, the United Nations is an international diplomatic and political organization. Each year the member delegations from the member states convene in New York City to discuss issues pertaining to maintaining relations in the international community. These issues include world peace, human rights, and security.
