The Barclay recalls one of its most colorful residents from the late 1920s, Mrs. Perle Mesta. Affectionately known as “The Hostess with the Mostest,” Perle was celebrated for her lavish parties hosted at the hotel. Today, our experienced team ensures every detail is tailored to suit your personal needs and create an event that would have undoubtedly been Perle-approved. Our new ballrooms boast coffered ceilings, exquisite chandeliers, detailed crown molding, specialty carpet, and custom lighting and millwork, evoking 1920's timeless elegance.

The Barclay has served as the background for classic TV shows like Law & Order, new binge-worthy shows such as Prodigal Son and Succession, along with movies, and featured photoshoots.
