Goodr was founded on the simple yet powerful idea that we need to feed more and waste less. What started as a local initiative to feed people experiencing food insecurity in Atlanta has grown into a national network with long-lasting impact.
The Barclay's Contributions May 2023 to November 2023:
IHG'S Luxury + Lifestyle participated in Chefs Cycle this May to bike 300 miles in Northern California to raise money. Funds raised through Chefs Cycle support No Kid Hungry’s national and local efforts to end childhood hunger in America. When we all work together, we can make sure kids get the healthy food they need.
The Barclay also supported the cause by donating $1 for Barclay Sour + Watermelon Basil cocktail sold, resulting in over $200 additional in donations.
Girls Write Now is a nonprofit organization serving girls and gender-expansive youth who attend New York City public schools and are from historically and systemically underserved communities. They break down barriers of gender, race, age and poverty to mentor future writers and leaders. Together, our community channels the power of our voices and stories to shape culture, impact industries and inspire change.
The Barclay Book Club donates all of our VIP ticket admissions to Girls Write Now - supporting the next generation of writers.
The Bowery Mission serves homeless and hungry New Yorkers and provides services that meet their immediate needs and transforms their lives from poverty and hopelessness to hope.
